Tho mine manager of tho Murray Creek Gold-mining Company, Limited, reports for week ended November 7 os follows:—"The winze has been sunk a further distance of 9ft., making a, total depth of 85ft. At 79ft. down the reef suddenly pinched to 12 inches, and from this point to bottom of tho winze it has widened oat to 2ft., and still looks like making. Tho face of the north drive No. 2' level has been advanced 17 feet, making a total of 216 feet driven. Tho reef became small, and tho last Bft. has been driven on track and reef formation. I propose putting a cut in the footwall as indications point to the reef being there."
