SELLING OF A DOLL
FOR THE DISTRESSED BELGIANS. After Mr. Fletcher's, meeting in the Concort Chamber last night a. note was .handed up to,the chairman asking permission on behalf of a little girl, Joyce Carman, to sell a doll in aid of \the Belgian Relief Fund. Mr. Fletcher took the opinion of the meeting on the question, which was apparently favourable, and Mr. A. Jacobs-forthwith put tho doll up to auction. The result of several sales was the receipt of £10 lis. Gd. for the fund, and the.little girl still has her doll..
