CAPTAIN A. W. MACARTHUR ONSLOW.

Captain A. W. Macarfchur-Onslow, formerly an instruction officer in New Zealand, was killed in action at Ypres. Captain Price Vaughan. Lewes, once Deputy-Commissioner in tho Western Pacific, and recently commanding tlie warship Superb, has died of wounds.
Captain O'Neill, M.P., was killed in action.
'Captain. A. W. Macarthur-Onslow, 16tli (the Queen's) Lancers, was employed in New Zealand from September, 1911, to June, 1914, as Instructor in Mounted Duties in the Cantorbury District. His previous war service was as follows:—South African war, 1899-1902, operations in the Transvaal, east of' Pretoria, including actions at Belfast; operations in Orange River Colony to November, 1900; operations in Capo Colony, November, 1901, to May, 1902. He received the Qucon's medal with three clasps and the' King's medal with two clasps. He was born in Australia; being of a well-known Australian family.
Captain Price Vaughan, C.8., D.5.0., was- born in 1865, and entered • the Royal Navy in 1878. He served on the Juba River in 1893, and in "Canada in 1898.
Captain the Hon. Arthur Edward Bruce O'Neill, Unionist -M.P. for MidAntrim since 1910, was in the 2nd Life Guards. Born in 1876, he was eldest son and heir to Baron O'Neill. In 1902 he married Lady Annabel CroweMihios, eldest daughter of the Marquis of Crowe, bv whom he has had two sons. In 1899-1900 Captain O'Neill saw service in South Africa.
