Present indications are for high westerly winds, changing by south, to south■eaet, cloudy, unsettled, and colder weather, with rain probable generally. Heavy seas on the West Ooast and increasing southward of Castlepoint. Barometer rising everywhere shortly. A westerly' stormy area has prevailed to and 60uthward of Cook Strait, with considerable rain on the West Coast and southern districts.
