The Wellington Farmers' Meat Company is at present .putting through the Waingawa Works a considerable number of fat bullocks for shipment to France. ' A line of .200 arrived from Auckland on Saturday, and these are to be followed ; by 400 more this week. After being frozen at Waingawa the' Wef will be .shipped at Wellington! 'It is reported that several other works in the Dominion are putting through stock for the same destination,' and it is un-. derstood the meat is to be supplied to the French troops. A district meeting of the Methodist Church opens here to-morrow. Forty delegates will be present.
