Milligaii writes :-In yours of tins morning appeal's Hie account of the splendid action of the above corps Of ; tho many valiajifc deeds tho "sons of AuJd Scotia" are doing in. this terrible war, this latest; by the London Scottish seems to eclipse them all. so far. The important fact may not be widely known that this battalion is not a lino regiment, but Territorial. This is -the first intimation, I believe, that-has been cabled or tlio Territorials being in tho fighting line.
