At Lower Hutt and Pctone yesterday a special effort was put forth by:the school children to raiso funds for the relief of Belgian children. A procession, in which about 300 took . part, the majority beating kerosene tins to attract attention, paraded the streets of Pctone. Various effigies of tho Tvaiser were displayed in placo of Guy Fawkcs, and at nightfall tho amount collected by Fetono itain School reached £30, whilst the Hutt scholars cathered in £27.
