WOUNDED FROM THE BATTLEFIELDS HOSPITALS CONGESTED. London, November, 3. The influx of wounded to Brussels is doscribed as terrible. During fortyeight hours last weok fifty trains, eaoh. composed of forty coaches, filled with wounded, passed from Ghent on .the ,ivay to Germany. Congestion at the base hospitals causes many to succumb through, lack of attention, 'There are 16,000 widows in Dusseldorf. Mourning in Oologuo, Hamburg, and other cities is described as almost universal. 'A Dutchman says that-1200 German wounded nro passing through Cologne an'd. Frankfurt every two days. The Russian Army hospital organisation at Rovno, he says, are superb. In looking through the limitless wards he was impressed by what injuries men can stand and recover from. A man shot through tho hoad was practically well in a fortnight; others shot through tho abdomen, stomach, lungs, or bladder were recovering smoothly as though it ■ wore part of the day's work. BERLIN FULL OF WOUNDED.. (Rec. November 4, 5.20 p.m.) Romo, November 3. Advices from Berlin state that an extraordinary number of wounded are (arriving at the capital. . The people's war enthusiasm is abating. All the hospitals- are full, and concert halls, theatres, and other buildings are being utilised.
