"All the tracks were open. ,- , . Kector Girl did furlongs ion the grass' in 51 l-ssec. .'. Kawere did the last five, of six furlongs on the grass in lmin; ssec. Monojack ran five furlongs on the tan in lmin. 10 3-ssec. . Huffy ran a round on the 6and in 2 min. 8 2-ssec. ■••' ~> Self and Castalia did three furlongs on the tan in 39 l-ssec. Grattan ran four furlongs on the grass in 50sec, and Worcester six furlongs on the tan in lmin.' 2S l-ssec. Taurangi went twice round the ,tan at half to thrM-quaftor pace. ■ Bercola, Kauroa, and Sportsman, separately, did' strong half-pace .work.' Eoysil.'lrish ■ and Ballygowan ian a round oii the sand in 2inin. H l-ssec. Eataiut and King Chiara;' did threequarter pace work. After breakfast Pntronale ran' three furldnra on the grass in 86 -l-ssec. . Achilledcs beat Chime over four furlongs on the grass in SOsec. ' Gloy Tan tho samealistaii.ee iu 52 2-ssec. ' . '. Bisogne and Loyal Arch were together, two lengths iu front of Viuaka, over three furlongs on: the two-year-old track, in .17 1-Ssec Tinopai ran the last four of five furlongs on the grass in 51 l-ssec. Blnek Eob, The Chief, and Beauty were schooled over tho'big fences, jumping well. Advancer and Darby Paul did a round of tho hurdles without a mistake, and a lot of others also worked.
