This will afford intending purchasers the advantage of in6pechnp[ the sires and dams of the stock they wish to purchase. There will be available twenty sires, all bred on the property, with tho exception of two imported. ' The sires of tho Holstoins aro American stock, bred from some of the heaviest milk-yielding families of the United States. One bull was selected by the well-known American authority, eiGovernbr Hoard, of Wisconsin. , The other, WOODOREST JOE, was selected by Mr. W. M. Singleton, Assistant Director of tho Dairy Produce Division. Tho latter will also be offered for sale. Tho dams are mainly Longbeach stock, the most sought-after blood 111 the Dominion at the present time, owing to their deep milking qualities, and that character so'much appreciated by New Zealand dairymen—robustness of constitution.
