MASTERTON NOTES.
A movement is being made in/theWairarapa to send a shipment of froseri meat to Belgium. Already a large quantity of 6tock lias been promised. On Saturday a sum of £500 was cabled to the High Commissioner. The rainfall registered in Masterton for the month of October was one inch, which is the lowest.on record. _ ■ *■■ No bankruptcies were recorded in I/he Wairarapa during tie tabnth of October.
