THE WAR CORRESPONDENT
TO REFRESENT THE DOMINION. The conditions of appointment of the correspondent for the New Zealand Press to accompany the New: Zealand Force to the front were referred to again in the House of Representatives on Thursday. Previously it had, been stated that Mr. ■ G.. Scholefield, London correspondent for certain New Zealand papers had been appointed, but the Prime Minister stated that he would inquire sof the High Commissioner exactly what the terms of appointment were. Sir Joseph Ward asked whether the Prime Minister had received any information on the subject from the High Commissioner. Mr. MasSey said he had communicated with the : High Commissioner, who had informed Trim by cablegram, that he had expected that arrangements would be completed at this end. Mr. Scholefield ■ had been appointed on the understanding that he would TepTesent the whole of the Press of the Dominion.
