SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
Present indications are lor cloudy and unsetlod weather, with rain. generally and 'snow on higher levels. Southwesterly to north-westerly winds,strong to eale, will probably prevail, and a further decrease in atmospheric prossure is probable everywhere. Gold, unsettled, and gloomy weather has prevailed, and rain has fallen in manv parts, especially about, and southward of, Cook Strait.
