ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A - .WOMAN'S SUDDEN DEATH. An inquest was held by Mr. D. Q. A. Cooper, S.M., yesterday afternoon at the Wellington Hospital into the death of a married woman named Annie Biddle, who died at tho Hospital shortly after admission on Tuesday. Dr. Kington. Fyffe, who held a postmortem examination on the body or deceased, said that the cause of death was . apoplexy. Other evidence was called, and tho Coroner returned a verdict that death was duo to apoplexy. MAN'S ARM FRACTURED. Yesterday morning Arthur Commetti, an employee of the Lower Hutt Council, whilst attending to the pumping station between Randwick Road, and tho Hutt River, got bis arm caught in the connecting-rod of tho two pumps, and fractured it, besidos Gustaning a sovero flesh-wound.' Mr. Trevethick telephoned for a motor-car, and tho injured man was taken to Dr. Miram's surgery, where ho received attention. WOMAN SEVERELY BURNED. (By Telegraph — Press Association.) Christchurch, October 29. Emily Bateman, a married woman, 32 years of ago, and residing at 16 Durham.Street, was admitted to iho Hospital to-day suffering from very severe bums "ii the lower part of lior body.
