A LITTLE COCK-CROWING

October 30, 0.45 a.m.) Amsterdam, October 29J General von Rupprecht, of Bavaria, commanding the Sixth Army Corps, has issued an order of the'day in which he states: "We are fortunate in being opposed to English' troops, representing a people whose envy has been' at work for years to surround us with enemies in order to strangle us, and to whom w;e owe the present bloody war. Therefore, now that we are facing the enemies who are the greatest obstacle to peace, take reprisals for the_ enemy's cunning and for all our sacrifices, and shotf tnem,it is not so easy to wipe out the Germans."
