The results are: — Bantams.—Croskery beat Simpkins on points. . . , Light-weight.—Benson beat F. Heeney on points. Welter-weight (six rounds). — J. Heeney beat Havill (Palmerston North) on points. In the professional contest nominally for 15 rounds Pooley got all over Lowe in ono round and a half. Lowe went down easily in the first round and spent the greater part of tho rest of the round on tho mat. In tho second round Lowo went down and took eight seconds, but then got up and 'Pooley finished off the business with a right uppor-out.
