There will be available twenty sires, all bred on the property, with the exception of two imported. Tho sires of, the Holsteins are American stock, bred from some of the heaviest milk-yielding families. of the United States. One bull was selected by the well-known American authority, exGovernor Hoard, of Wisconsin. ■ The other, WOODCREST JOE, was selected by Mr. W. M. Singleton,' Assistant Director of the Dairy Produce Division. The latter will also be offered for sale. The dame are mainly Longbeach stock, the most sought-after blood in the' Dominion at the present time, owing to. their deep milking qualities, and that character so mnch appreciated by New Zealand dairymen—robustness of constitution. .
