TRAMWAY FIGURES
SATISFACTORY INCREASES. According to a Teport submitted to the Tramwaye Committe of the City Council yesterday, the total revenue of the Tramways Department of -the Corporation for the twenty-eight weeks onded October 13 was greater by £4292 than that for the corresponding period of last year. On the other hand, the working expenses for the same period increased by £3684 as compared with tho corresponding twenty-eight weeks of 1913. Over half a million more people wero carried on the cars than in the period from April 1 to Octoher 13 of last year, and 86,679 more car miles were run.. During the last twenty-eight week period the revenue from power supply and track light increased by £393, the working expenses by £422, the capital charges, by £146, and the credit balance by £175.
