An exceptionally fine typo of fishing boat in tho Galilio arrived in port at tho latter end of last week, on her way from Dunedin to Wanganui, in search of suitable trawling grounds. The Galileo was built at Dunedin about five months ago by Mr. A. Jenkinson, for Messrs. JI. Royall and Son, ocnd is fittod up with the latest trawling appliancesl Tho vessel is 95 tons gro6s register, can develop a speed of 9 knots, has a net, \vheol house, and other interesting features. The Gallileo left Dunedin about a month ago, and has been testing tho fishing grounds off.the coast. The vessel called in at Wellington to take in fresh rapplies of tood and oil.
