WOOL EXPORTS
AUSTRALIAN PRECAUTIONS. Melbourne, October 24. A proclamation has been issued prohibiting tho. exportation of wool without the consent, of tho Minister of Customs. (Rec. October 25, 5.5 p.m.) ' Sydney, October 25. Tho Woolbrokors' Association notifies that exports of wool arc permitted under tho proclamation to Britain, Canada, India, Now- Zealand, Belgium, and Franco in- British or French ships; to Japan in British or Japanese ships. Tho permission of tho Customs must ho obtained before shipments can bo made to America, Italy, and other countries.
