"PEOPLE'S DAY." (By Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.) Naoisr, October 22. "People's Day" at the Hawke's Bay A. and P. Society's Spring Show was a remarkablo success, and the attondanco was greater than at any previous show held "at Hastings. The weather was. perfect. The dairy cattle, thoroughbred, and saddlo horses, dogs, etc. ; were judged to-day, the following ' bomg a tally of some of tho first prizes;— DAIRY-CATTLE. Grade. At this show is offered the Union S.S. Company's Challenge Cup, valued at 50 guineas, and considered to be the blue ribbon of tho Clydesdale, world. The Now Zealand. Kennel Club's championship awards are also competed for at the 6how.
