SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications arc for changeable and squally weather, with rain probable, more particularly in districts with n. westerly and a southerly aspect. Strong west and south-westerly winds are likely to prevail, and the week-end conditions will probably be unsettled. The barometer is unsteady. Barometric' pressure has decreased, and strong westerly winds have prevailed. Showers haye fallen in the West Coast and southernmost dietriete, and the weather lia6 bean generally changeable, and in aud southward of Cook Strait at times boisterous. D. 0. BATES.
