She then went out and reported -the'matter to the police. Inspector Hendrey, said tfeat Wilson had been twice convicted for theft (in .1902 and 1904), and had been sentenced to three years' imprisonment in .'1911,' A sentence of four months' imprisonment was imposed. The telegram was as : follows:— "J. O'Connor, Greenlane,— Received wire; send money here.—-Percy O'Connor." Accused pleaded' guilty, and , , was. committed .to the Supreme Court for. sentence. Ernest-Wendocatt and Thomas 'Whit- , Ing, >who pleaded not guilty to a charge of deserting from the Ruanine, were re.manded until to-day. s Chfis. Davidson, who was discovered begging_ in Manners Street, was charged with being an idlo and disorderly person, and being convicted was sentenced to one month's imprisonment. '; . . Violet Patori, alias FTaser,waß sentenced to, one month's imprisonment for importuning. ' . . For drunkenness,. Norman M'Alinden was fined 205., or three days, and Archibald M'Lean fined 10s. or 48 hours. For helpless drunkenness, Michael Murphy was fined £1, or three days.. •
