CRICKET
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEET- , ' ING. \ , Mr. C. G. Wilson presided at a meeting of tho Management, Committee of tho Wellington Cricket Association last evening. Messrs.. Howitt and Staco, having resigned from the Third-class Committeo, Messrs. B. Mabin and F. J. Driscoll wero appointed to fill the vacancies. Messrs. M. J. Crombio, A. G. Wilson, and the sefirotary wero appointed a committee, to go into the quostion oi arranging for the number of rounds ivliich will bo played in tho senior competition. An entry was received from the Porirua Cricket Club. It was decided to classify the club a 6 juniors. Mr. M. C. Mason wrote resigning his position as a. member of tho agomeiit Committee. ' r Tlier resignation was accepted with . rogrqt, and Mr. Mason was thanked for past services. The question of appointing a successor was held over till next meeting. A letter was received from tho Marlborough Association asking for a match against a Wellington B representative team during tho Christmas holidays. Lt was decided to hold the matter ovuT till next meeting.
