SUNK BY A MINE

Toklo, October 19. The Japanese cruiser Takachiho was sunk by a mino in Kioa-chau Bay. Ten of the crew were saved. ' (Rcc. October 20, 11.20 p.m.) Peking, October 19. There-were 284 aboard the Japanese cruiser Takachiho. j Tho Takachiho was built in 1885, and had a displacement of 3700 tons, her speed was originally 18i knots. She carried eight 6-inch Runs and two 6pounder gnus. Tho only other ship of the class, the Naniwa, was wrecked recently.
