Owing to his son going to the front, Mr. James Wallace.has decided not to' contest the election as the Reform candidate for Timaru. It is rumoured that Mr. F. H. Lib-eral-Labour nomination for tho Dune- , din West scat. • THE CHALMERS SEAT. Dunedin, October 19. At a meeting of the Chalmers Liberal League to-night Mr. H. E. Mollcr was selected as the Opposition candidate for tho seat. THE SUBURBS SEAT. The election campaign for Wellington Suburbs will be opened to-morrow night (Wednesday) by Mr. R. A. Wright, at Karori. Mr. Wright will also address the electors at Makara on Thursday and at Ngaio on Friday evening.
