BIG EARTHQUAKE IN GREECE
WHOLE COUNTRY SHAKEN By Telegraph—Press Associatlon-Oopyrtelit (Rcc. Octobor 18, 11.10 p.m.) Athens, October 17. An earthquake did great damage at Thebes (a town of 3000 inhabitants in the province of Boeotia, Greece), whero many people were engulfed.Serious damage was also done in the district of Chalkis (on the Gulf of Salonika). The whole of Greece was shakon, and many houses at Athens wero cracked.
