AUSTRIAN TORPEDO BOATS CHASED (Rec. October 18, 3.35 p.m.) Rome, October 17. The bombardment of Cattaro (the Austrian naval port and fortress on the Adriatic) lins been resumed with" the greatest violence from the fleet and Mount Touehin. During tho night six French ships, in response to a wireless mcGsago. rushed in search of an Austrian torpedo-boat flotilla which was attacking one of tho Allies' vessels. A submarine struck one of the Austrian torpedo-boats; the rest escaped.
