OBITUARY
The death occurred on. Wednesday morning in 'Nelson of Mrs. Fanny Harrison Hanby, the widow of the late Mr. o.' W'. Hanby, for many years editor of the Nelson "Evening Mail." Mrs. Hanby, who was 56 years of age, was born •at eea off the China coast. She was married in Launceston, Tasmania, and leaves a family of three —Mrs. B. C.Robinson (of Stratford), Miss Henby (of Nelson), and the Rev. H. 0. Hanby (vicar of Fairlie, in South Canterbury). Miss Hardcastle, who has been staying at Balmoral, leaves to-day for Wa-nga-nui. .. , ■■ The marriage took place, in the-Wes-loyan; Church, Fitzgerald Avemjo, Christchuroh, on Wednosdny of Miss Alice Oroya Owen, eldest-daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Oweu, of Christchurch, to Mr. Alexander M. Russell, also or Christchuroh. Tho Rev. Mr.. Sinclair performed tbo ceremony. Miss Jessie Henderson was bridesmaid, , and Mr. Sydney Griffiths was best man. Mrs.W. Sholto Douglas'(Auckland) is visiting her daughter,. iJlrs.' Harry .Steele in Napier. . . ...
