D. Anderson and Co.) ... 5 4 1 Total ..„ 1103 8 0 ■ RABBITS FOR THE POOR. ' (By Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.) V/anganul, October 15. Another rabbit drive was organised by Mr. A. J. Hum,,.of Feilding, on Wednesday, as the result of which" about ono hundred rabbits for' tho Belgium Relief Fund will be frozen by tho Feilding Bacon Factory free of all charges. The cars wore placed at the disposal of the shootists by Messrs. A. .7. Hum* R. Knight, and J. R. Perry. Mr. Hum proposes to arrange several parties, and hopes to send 1000 rabbits for this deserving cause. THE 'AUCKLAND FUND. (By Telograph.—Prese Association.) Auckland, October 15. The fund opened by the Acting-Consul for Belgium in Auckland in aid of the distress in. Belgium now amounts to £1668. A meeting of citizens in sympathy with the objects of the fund is being palled by the Mayor. GISBORNE DONATIONS. Cisborno, October 15. The Gisborne "Times's" Belgian Relief Fund has reached £1700, of which £1300 has already been sent forward. Another fund, to provide blankets for the poor of Belgium and Britain, totals £300, and is rapidly increasing.
