Hopes are still entertained at Palmerston that another camp will he .established hero shortly. Four hundred have been received. Mr. J.. E. Fulton, consulting engineer, of Wellington, has begun his inspection with a view, to reporting on the river on behalf of the objectors. The annual sports of.the Palmerston High School .were held yesterday, in ' fine weather; Some excellent times -were put up. ; ' Rangiotu, Rangitane, and' Bainesse have responded to the canvass for the Huntly Fund with £29.
