vessel was expected to arrive at Hobart _ from LivcrpooL to-day. It was announced that the Kakaia );ad left the Home port for Auckland ou August 14. As a, matter of fact, it was August 21 before she- got away. After visiting Auckland, the Eα- I kaia will arrive at Wellington on October 27. MAITAI PROM SAN FRANCISCO. A delay of thirty hours was occasioned to the Union Company's steamer Maitai at Rarotonga ou account of bad weather. Tho vessel, which iaon her way down from San Franci'sco, should make port eoino time to-day or to-morrow morning. Sho hasll24 tons of cargo on board for here. Included in. the latter is 183 tone of fruit. The Maitai s freight for Lyttclton amounts to 155 tons, and that for Dunedin 77 tons.
