VOLUNTEERS TO FIGHT ON TO THE END ' (R«e. October 13, 9.35 p.m.) London, October 12. Telegrams, giving details of tie bombardment of Antwerp state that four officers in Fort St. Marie drew lots as to who should remain and fight to the death. . The lot fell to a married man with a family, and another volunteered to take his place. The offer was reluctantly accepted and the three other officers farewelled thoir heroic comrade.
