Although tho Union Company's Tarawera left Napier early yesterday afternoon sho is not expected to arrive at Wellington till this afternoon. Instructions have Been Issued for her to keep a lookout for tlio disabled steamer Kind on the run down tho coast. Before proceeding on to southern ports to-day the Tarawera will land 400 tons of cargo here. It is announced that tho Flora will relievo tho Taviuni in the Duncdin-West Coast service pro tern. The Mora is due here next Sunday, and will leave for Sow Plymouth and West Coast ports tho following day. Telegraphic advice has been received from Greymouth stating that the weather was bad at that port yesterday. The Arahura- had been detained outside tho bar, [rat it was hoped to get her inside during tho evening. She was to have left for Wellington, via way ports, this morning. Hound from Sydney to San Francisco, via way ports, the Union Company's Marama left tho New South Wales port for Wellington at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Sho is duo in port to-morrow morning, and will be dispatched for Harotonga, I'apeote, and San Francisco at 5 p.m. on Thursday. According to a Press Association message received from Christohurch last evening the New Zoakind Shipping Company has been advised that tho Eotorua is expected to arrive at Hobart from London, to-morrow. The liner should arrive here on her duo date, viz.: October 20. Although wireless messages have been received in Wellington from tho Union Company's steamer ilaitai, no definite tiino of her arrival in port from San Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga, has been announced. After an uneventful pasagc, the HuddartFarker steamer Victoria made her reappearance at Wellington from Sydney yesterday afternoon. Sho left the New South Wales port at 1 p.m. on Thursday laden with transhipments ex the Wildcards from New York. Favourable weather was experienced till the vessel entered Cook Strait, when strong westerly winds wore experienced.
