EFFECTIVE FRENCH GUNNERY Paris, October 11. The correspondent of tho "Journal des Debats" says;—"l hare seen German trenches choked with corpses frightfully mutilated; further away several infantry regiments entirely destroyed, the bodies forming heaps threo feet"high. This awful caruago is caused by the French 75 millimetre fiold-guns. I have seen them destroy entire columns at eight hundred yards.
