"U" SHED CONCERTS.
A large and enthusiastic audience wclb present on Saturday evening in the "U" Shed, when a programme of exceptional • merit was presented by Messrs. Wileon and Lyon, under the direction of Mr. i James Dykes. The following , contributed items:—Miss Hardingo Maltby, Misses Marsh (2), Miss Lemon, Masters Power and M'Gormick, Mr. Wood, Mr. •Dykes, and the Y.M.C.A. pupils, in a gymnastic display. An item which was highly appreciated was contributed by Messrs. Wilson and 1 May, patter comedians, late'of the Levy. Circuit, New York. An impromptu comic song competition concluded the evening's entertainment, nnd resulted ■as follows':— •■ Drummer Kermode, 1; A. Hilling, 2; A. S. Sullivan, 3. The prizes for this ■ event were presented by Messrs. George Thomas and Co. ' /
