SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications ore for the development of another westerly area- of low pressure, the barometer falling in the" south shortly. Westerly winds mil probably predominate- and increase again, strong to gale, in, and southward of, Oook Strait. Weather fair and warm, but with Increasing haze and cloudiness following in the West Coast and ! southernmost districts. Westerly and south-westerly winds have predominated, decreasing in force since last night, when gales were experienced in many parts of the country. Barometrto pressure has inoreased everywhere, and fair weather hoe prevailed to-day. D. 0.
