CANARY SPECIALISTS' CLUB

A meeting of the Dominion Canary Specialists' Club • was held last evening, when a large number of members attended. Mr. J. Neil Rider presided. The following names were added to tho list of sub-patrons of the club:— Messrs. A. A. George, T. Arthur, Goo. Winder, Dawson, S. Sims Craven, F. Cooper, and Gibbons. Mr. Geo. Eastway, Auckland, and Mr. L. Penrose, ;■■ Christchurch, were elected vice-presidents. It was announced that the club had beon assured of a hearty personal and financial support by a large number of prominent citizens of Wellington, and its success was said to be well assured.
