PINE PERFORMANCE MARRED COMMENT OF "TKS TIMES" (Rec. October 6, 5.45 p.m.) -" London, October 5. . "The Times," in a leading article referring to the big task the Germans have undertaken, says that not content with making a creditable, stand across the north of Franco and trying to take Antwerp, they have simultaneously invaded Russia.. Their advance to the Niemen, in Russia, has demonstrated their courage, but not their commonsense, and now they aro advancing huge masses on a front'of a hundred miles against the Russians on the Vistula, and only'a nation with live millions of •trained men could attempt so many great feats at once, and succeed in putting up a fine performance. If only the Germans knew how to bohavo decently in warfare they would bo worthy foes.
