With India, South Africa, and other possessions, the war may. involve the expenditure of £100,000,000 by the outer Empire. Though the colonies undertook to face the liability, they could hardly find the money unassisted; but probably it will be.found that the British Government come to the assistance of the Dominions with war loans.
