The consular report on Jerusalem for 1913 states that tho approximate number of tourists and pilgrims of the better class who visited Jerusalem during the three seasons of 1911, 1912, and 1913, and to whom the majority of tha inhabitants look for their livelihood, was as follows:—1911, 5759; 1912, 5320; and 1913. 5238. '..Of those 1073 were Americans, 894 British, 531 French; and 441 Germane.
