SOLDIERS' CONCERT
The Artillery Brigade concert in the Harbour Board's 0 shed on Saturday night was a most successful one. _ The attendance, was fair, while the items wore of a most entertaining- description. The soldiers contributed most of the items, while Miss V. Jolinston contributed elocutionary numbers, which were enthusiastically received. Lieutenant Dunnet, Trumpeter Harrison, Sapper Stabler, Sapper Marryatt, and Mr. Tointon all contributed to the programme. A boxing bout by two 6eamen from the Orari was watched with the keenest of interest. Among those present was the Mayor, Mr. J. P. Luke, and at the conclusion of the programme he moved a hearty vote of thanks to the performers. To-night an interesting programme is promised by members of the Victoria League.
