AT WHITE ISLAND
INCREASED THERMAL ACTIVITY,
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) . Auckland, September 30. Roports from Opotiki state that the smell of sulphur is very powerful there to-night. Clouds of steam havo been seen over White Island all day, indicating inoreased, thermal activity.
