Present indications are for a. westerly squall area passing in tile south eaon, bringing uneettk-d conditions temporarily southward ol New .Plymouth and Oastlepoint. Cold and changeable weatlicr probablo generally. Winds variable, but moderate to etTong and increasing westerlies predominating, and changing to southerly again soon, with a rapid increase of barometric pressure in the south. Oold and changeable weather has predominated, and a few local showers havo been, reported. Southerly winds have given place to more variable breezes to-day.
