LETTERS FOR TROOPS
COMPLAINTS OF DELAY IN DELIVERY. Complaints are being made that letters addressed to members of tho Expeditionary Force now on transports or in camp in 'Wellington are remaining undelivered in some cases as long *s three, days, despite: the fact that they are fully and correctly addressed. An inquiry made yesterday showed that tho official authorities of the Expeditionary Force havo taken over the responsibility of the delivery of letters to the men of the- Force, and that owing to the rather unexpected change in plans, the arrangements have not been adequate. It is .. understood that ji larger staff has now been engaged as sorters, including troopers who have had experience in the. work, and that the delay in transmission experienced during the past few days will not be continued. Once the system is in full swing the delivery will bo promptness itself. . •
