The thirty-eighth, annual report of tho Maffterton Permanent Investment curt Building Society, which is to be submitted to the shareholders on October 5, states. that the net profit for the year ended August 31. amounted to £2094 2s. 6d„ as against £2046 15a. 6d. for the previous year, the percentage on average shajre capital employed being 7.08 per cent., 'as compared' with 7.29 per cent.
