A successful race*-was flown on Saturday from Now Plymouth, under the auspices of the Hutt,Valley.Homing Pigeon Soeioty, only about 13 minutes separating tho first and last birds. The following are the results: —Mr. C. Gough's Bluo and White, 1, 4hrs. 42min., velocity 940 yards per minute; Mr. W. Smith's King Cole, 2, 4hrs. 47min., velocity 935.26 yards por minute; Messrs. Whitehead and Booths' Torpedo, 3, 4hrs. 53miu. 48sec, velocity 910.21 yards per minute; Mr. D. Abrahams Dominion, 4, 4hrs. 52min. 3050e.; velocity 008.44 yards per minute; Mr. R. Booth's Red Heron, 5, 4hrs. 55min., velocity 902 yards per minute. The next race will be flown from To Kuiti.
