HOCKEY ENGLISH LADIES WIN AGAIN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Oamaru, .September 25. _Engknd (9) defeated North Otago (5). North Ofcago made a surprisingly good shoiv. The iirst spell ended: England, 5; North Otago, 3. In the second half .the home team fell away for a quarter of an hour, allowing the visitors to add four niciro goals, but in the last ten minutes the homo team revived, and quickly added two goals, amid great enthusiasm. A feature of the game was the magnificent display of the full-back, Robertson, (captain), and the- goalkeeper, Smith. The scorers were: — England: Gaskill (8), Leacroft (3), Gatey, Smith, and Elween. North Otago: Moss. (2), Blythe (2), and- .Williams.
