Owing to the price of wheat not yet having been fixed by the Government Kiere is a good deal of uncertainty in the market. . A few sales of wheat have ; been made at se: at country stations, hut merchante are finding it difficult to effect re.-sales. There is not a large quantity offering, end holders do not appecjr anxious 'to sell. . The oats market is qliiet owing to the difficulty of getting shipping apace to England, and there is no change in the prices. ■ Oatsheaf chaff is dull of eale, buyers offering 555., but igi'owers are generally asking 60s. at country stations, The potato, market has weakened further, 30s. .being all that is offered.
