LIVE STOCK SALES. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, Wellington, rcpoTt having held their monthly sale at tho Otaki yards on Tuesday, when jjood yardings of sheep ond heavy yardings of cattle came forward. There was spirited bidding right through. There was.an exceptionally keen demand for eheep, cepecialy so for hoggets. We had some- very nice pens of woolly hoggets to offer, and these brought up to 18s. lid. In cattlo the strongest demand was for etcers. The prices recorded were right through in favour of sellers. Tho principal sales were:—Woolly hoggets, 15s. 2d., 18s. 2d.. 18s.
